Although we live in Seattle, my husband, Fred, prefers the Tacoma Tribune paper so we noticed the obituaries of both Walt and Jake. Our father, Stephen H. Perkins and grandfather, William W. Perkins were friends and business partners with Walt (Inter-State Supply). Our aunt, Adelaide (Perkins) Sigel (widow of Fritz Sigel) was sorry to hear of their passing. She had been wondering where Walt was and how he was for years. Adelaide is the only living relative of that generation in our family. She lives in downtown Seattle at the Wall Street Towers. We want to extend our sympathy and let you know that Jake and Walt are fondly remembered. The Kessler Family were a pioneer Swiss family from the Tacoma (Fife) area. They were all respected among their friends and business associates.
