Jack L. Brookshier's Obituary
Jack was born in Vona, Colorado August 3, 1926 to Melvin and Sylva Brookshier and passed away at Tacoma General Hospital April 27, 2007. Jack married Lillis Gallaher in Torrington, WY in 1948. Jack and Lillis moved to Tacoma with their children Nathaniel and Bryon in 1965. Jack worked for Tacoma Brace and Limb for many years. He then worked at the Shriner's Hospital in Portland, OR, before retiring in 1989. He was very active in the Boy Scouts and was a Freemason. Jack was preceded in death by Lillis in 2006, son Nathaniel in 1990, and brother Richard in 1946. Survivors include his son Bryon, his grandchildren, Nathaniel and Timothy, and brother Clifford. Viewing will be held at Mt. View Funeral Home, Fri. May 4, 4-9 PM. Funeral service also at Mt. View, Sat. May 5 at 11 AM in the Garden Chapel.
