Jack A. Gilmore's Obituary
Jack A Gilmore, age 72, passed away in Olympia, WA on February 23, 2026. Jack was born to parents Jackie and Marjorie Gilmore in Salzburg Austria on July 1, 1953.
He was adventurous and loved the outdoors. He loved fishing, camping, cooking, motor dirt bike ridding, the ocean, and also enjoyed watching Motocross, Nascar and football. He loved his church Immanuel Presbyterian in Tacoma. Even at 72 years old, the word retire was not in his vocabulary. He enjoyed working, saying it gave him a sense of purpose. He was really good at his job, and helped many apprentices become certified plumbers.
He was loving, caring, supportive and a jokester. He loved his family with all his heart. He would not acknowledge the word quit or give up and was the bravest, strongest hardest fighter, even when battling against cancer.
Jack is survived by his loving wife Erica, his two children, Jack and Jenica, two stepchildren Breanne and Erik, his brother Jim, and many other family and friends who will miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his two sisters Anna and Denise.
Please honor the life and memory of Jack by leaving cherished memories, messages, and photos for his family on the guestbook page.
