Jack Farnsworth III's Obituary
Jack Farnsworth III passed away peacefully at home on June 11, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his immediate family. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, known for his wit, sass, and quick use of dad jokes.
Jack is survived by his devoted wife, Cynthia L. Farnsworth; his children, Joseph D. Wilson, and his significant other Jessica A. Holovacko, Victoria R. Farnsworth and significant other Beaux, and Jacinda L. Farnsworth and her significant other Chase D. Hite; and his cherished grandchildren, Theodore D. Hite, and Luka J. Holovacko. He also leaves behind his mother, Marianne R. Shulte, and his sisters, Chandra, and Camisha, along with his Aunt Nina. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack D. Farnsworth. His extended family, including numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jack’s life was marked by his enormous love of his grandchildren, his humor, and love for movies, TV shows, and music. Jack thrived when he played his guitars. He loved the band RUSH, and quirky sitcoms like Trailor Park Boys. He enjoyed sitting on his computer for hours making Unreal maps to upload for players to play. He did not play the game, but he enjoyed making maps for others to play. He spent time dabbling in woodworking and built a huge playground for his children when they were little. He made a huge impact on his coworkers, especially when asked for something and his immediate response to them was “$5 Bucks”
A memorial service will not be held, anyone who knew Jack knew he was a private person, he had no social media presence and kept his circle small. His wish was to be put into a Jack Daniel’s bottle and placed next to the campfire when we go camping. His wishes will be honored by his family in private.
