J.Bruce Galloway's Obituary
Bruce was born April 19, 1929 in Tacoma WA. He grew up in Tacoma and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1947. He married his high school sweetheart, Dona Meade on Sept 1, 1951 and had 4 daughters over the next few years. He served in the Marines in the early 1950’s, then worked for the USPS from 1957 through June 1984. He enjoyed Square Dancing, fishing, mountain climbing, and taught his daughters to use tools and maintain cars. Bruce is survived by his youngest brother Donald Galloway(Violeta), daughters; Aleta Hill (Duane), Bunny Eccleston (Larry), Cecelia Whisler, and Carole Galloway; 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and their families. A memorial service will be held Wed Sept 4 at 2pm at Weatherly Inn, 6016 N Highlands Pkwy, Tacoma, WA. Donations to your favorite charity in lieu of flowers are requested.
