Izola Evelyn Games' Obituary
Izola (Ikey) passed away on Monday, October 21st at Casa Colina Care Center in Green Valley, Az. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Leslie, in 1993. She was born to Ida and Edgar Shannon in Wagoner, Oklahoma. As a young girl she moved to the Northwest with her mother, brother and sister and located in the Yelm, Washington area where she lived until marring in 1935 and moved to Tenino, WA, from there to Tacoma for a few years until they purchased their lifelong home in the Summit View area southwest of Puyallup. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, swimming, and especially bird watching where she traveled to viewing sights with others in her ornithology club. In 2008 she moved to Green Valley, Arizona to “Live in the sunshine.” She and Leslie had three children, Thelma Smith of Lake Morton, WA, Alice Keene of Green Valley, AZ, and Leslie Games of Maple Valley, WA; six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
The family has requested remembrances be given to an individual’s preferred charity.
