Izola Edwards' Obituary
Born in Joplin, MO to John and Mary Ketron. Her nickname was "Granny" since becoming a very young grandmother. Nadine spent many years as a Waitress. She always enjoyed meeting people and made many friends. She was a member of the Hotel Employees & Restaurant Employees Local #8Nadine was a fabulous cook, with whom none could compare, a voracious reader and loved animals. She had may pets, especially cats throughout her life. She was a sports fan who loved the Mariners.She kept abreast with news in all areas including current events, politics, music, movies, and TV, especially celebrity gossip.She was a grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother who adored her grandchildren.At the age of 90, she was still vibrant and active with a terrific sense of humor.She fought vigorously during her last illness, pneumonia, before deciding to go home to be with her husband and many family members, friends and pets who preceded her in passing.She is survived by daughter Carol, Grandchildren Debbie, Rick, Ron, Bill, Scott, son0in0law Neil, great grandchildren, Julie, Michelle, Marilyn, Brendan, Darren, great great grandchildren Tianna, Brooklyn, Sierra, nieces and nephews and many friends.She was a wonderful woman who will be missed by all.Viewing will be Thursday, April 10th from 2pm - 9pm at Mt. View Funeral Home.Services will be at 2pm on Fri. April 11, 2003 in the Garden Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home
