Izetta Jenkins' Obituary
Izetta was born December 14, 1935 in Moro, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Solonia Harpes of Moro, Arkansas and Herbert Jorden of St. Louis, Missouri. Izetta was married to Fletcher Jenkins Sr. in 1958 in Tacoma, Washington.Izetta was a member of Edwards Temple Church of God in Christ. She served as District Missionary of District 7 for many years. She went to join the Lord at 1:00 P.M., August 30, 2003.Missionary Izetta Jenkins is survived by her husband of forty-five years, Fletcher Jenkins Sr.; three children, Lavada Dillingham, Fletcher Jenkins, Jr., and Solonia Henix; daughter-in-law, Laurie Jenkins; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of saints and friends.Visitation will be 12:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., Thursday, September 4th at Mt. View Funeral Home.Services will be held Friday, September 5, 2003 at 12:00 P.M. at Edwards Temple Church of God in Christ, 1107 South 21st St., Tacoma.
