Ivana Wydra's Obituary
Ivana (Janet) Zdenka Wydra Born January 23, 1915, passed away October 3, 2012 at the age of 97. She is peacefully reunited with her beloved husband of 67 years, Roman Romwald and her cherished son, Roman Michael. Ivana was born in Crikvenica, Croatia and graduated from the University of Zagreb.
She married Roman in 1943 and together they immigrated to the United States with their son in 1951. After moving to Tacoma, Ivana graduated from the College of Puget Sound in 1959 with a degree in French and went on to get her teaching credential, teaching both French and music in local schools.
Ivana is survived by her granddaughter, Amber, two great-grandsons, as well as extended family in her homeland of Croatia.
Services will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Tacoma, Friday, October 19th at 11am.
