Iva was born November 6, 1910 in Cogswell, North Dakota to Sarah and Fred Lutz, and passed away July 3, 2006 at the Franciscan Hospice House in University Place, WA.She was preceded in death by 2 husbands, Floyd J. Cook (died 1960) and Stewart A. Wallace (died 1992). Iva is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Richard Bowlin, and grandsons, Chris and Jason Bowlin.Iva lived 63 years in the Tacoma area, retiring in 1976 from the Tillicum Pharmacy. She was a charter member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Lakewood. She was loved by many, and enjoyed an abundant life in Christ.A committal service will be held at 12:30 PM at Mountain View Memorial Park, followed by a memorial service celebrating her life at 1:30 PM on Saturday, July 8, 2006 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests remembrances be made to the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 10333 Bridgeport Way SW, Lakewood, WA 98499, or Franciscan Hospice House, 2901 Bridgeport Way W, University Place, WA 98466.
