Irma Munoz Morales' Obituary
It is with great sorrow and heartache that we announce the passing of our precious mother. Our mother devoted her entire life to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her pleasure in life came from seeing her children happy and working in her beautiful garden. Our mother was one that no matter how tired she was or what hour of the day, upon seeing any of us arrive would spontaneously prepare us a meal, even if we protested. She always placed her childrenÂ's needs and others before herself. We will miss her loving tender touch, her words of encouragement, and her beautiful heart. She will be profoundly missed by all of us.Our mother was born in Dorado, Puerto Rico, on July 7, 1930 to Jacinto Munoz and Felecita Gonzalez. She passed away on May 22nd, 2005. Irma leaves behind her husband Felipe, her four children, Gladys, Hilda, Luis, and William, her grandchildren John and David Miller, Nick and Liza Mojica, and Gabe, Mike, and Sofia Morales, as well as great-grandchildren Saisha Miller and Nathan Mojica. She also leaves behind eight sisters and four brothers. She married her devoted husband Felipe Morales, a military soldier, on October 10th, 1952. She was uprooted from her island and was moved to Germany, then Washington State, then to Panama, and back to Washington State in 1964, where she has been a resident of Lakewood since.A viewing will be held from 3:00 to 9:00 PM, Friday, May 27th, at Mountain View Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 28, in one of Mountain ViewÂ's Chapels.
