Iris V. Stearns' Obituary
Born August 16, 1910 in Burwell, Nebraska. Loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Iris was preceded in death by husband of 52 years Ralph Harwood Stearns, children Harvey Earl Stearns and Rieta Carol Tamplen, and granddaughter Terry Heselwood. She is survived by daughter Betty Ruth Berghammer; grandchildren Patricia Hoyt, Michael Stearns, Diana Harmon, Richard and John Berghammer, and Steven Tamplen; 12 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren. Owners, Stearns Market, lifetime member of Puyallup Valley Gem and Mineral Club, published poet and author, librarian, Methodist, and Valedictorian of her high school. She will be greatly missed.Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 in the Garden Chapel.
