Iris F. Elliott Born to Charles and Isabell Fulton on May 11, 1913 in Clinton, IN; passed away on Jan. 2, 2012 after a brief illness in Tacoma, WA, with her son at her side. She is survived by her son Gene Elliott, Puyallup, WA, and a brother, Charles (Jack) Fulton (Louise), of Puyallup, WA. She graduated from Sumner High in 1932. She worked as a burner at the Tacoma Shipyards during WWII. She retired at the Tacoma Goodwill after 24 years. Her wishes were that no funeral services be held, and she was laid to rest in the Garden of Peace at Mountain View Memorial Park, Lakewood, WA. In her memory remembrances may be made to the Pierce County Humane Society.
