Irene LaVerne Washington's Obituary
Irene LaVerne Washington was born in Shelton, Washington on July 20, 1949 to Mabel and Vernon Washington, Sr. She was taken home to be forever with them and God on April 20, 2014.
She will be tremendously missed by her 6 siblings, as she was the center of our known universe: Frank (Francine), Vernon Jr. (Lola), Judy Wilkins (Jerry), Roslynne Reed (David), Daniel with whom she lived, and Stella (Max Fields Jr.); 3 beloved nephews, 6 “Bratty Brats” nieces, several grand nieces and grand nephews, her beloved Aunt Bev Logie, 2 Uncles (Raymond Teo and Richard Washington), and a host of cousins and many wonderful, kind and loving friends.
She will be celebrated at Shiloh Baptist Church in Tacoma, Washington on April 26, 2014. Burial at Mountain View Cemetery, and please join the family at Chief Leshi in Puyallup for a dinner that will include her favorite foods.
