Irene Emily HofstadMay 13, 1906 Â- July 6, 2003Irene was born May 13, 1906 to George and Emily Greetham in Tacoma, WA. She passed away July 6, 2003. Irene loved to travel, but most of all loved spending time with her family and friends. She valued every minute spent with those she held most dear. She will be missed by all who knew her.She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, and 2 brothers.She is survived by her son, Larry (Pat) Hofstad of Tacoma; daughter, Lynda (Jack) Hendrickson of Bainbridge Island; 5 granddaughters, Sherri, Jennifer, Kaye, Amy, and Kari; and 3 great-grandchildren, Tanner, Anna, and Taylor.A gathering in IreneÂ's honor will be at 2 P.M., Saturday, July 12, 2003 at Alterra Villas at Union Park, 2010 S. Union Ave., Tacoma
