Ryan lived next to the Dojo so Ms Ingrid was always there for us, whether she knew it or not. Ben would steal Popsicles from her deep freezer before class but he never shared with us, even during NINJA camp when it was so hot, and I think she knew, but didnt mind... too much. Ryan would go back and get one for me because he knows I haven't tolerance for heat. Ms Ingrid was kind, gentle, generous, thoughtful, and most of all Loving. I didn't see her much, but I saw (her) amazing heart through her son, Ryan, every day! Dankeschön for raising such a wonderful human aka my Big Brother! We are still brother and lil sister, even though we haven't seen one another for over 3 decades! Your love and light still goes on through Ryan's heart! May you rest peacefully and we will never forget your kindness 🙏🏽
Ingrid was a great neighbor/ sister to me. She watched out for me at all times while I was at work. If she saw a car she didn’t recognize at my place, she would text me, and before I could answer she would march right over and find out who they were and what they wanted! She would inform them that she was my sister!
I don’t have just one fond memory of Ingrid, I have many! She helped me through so much! She was my cat sitter when I needed her. She took care of me, always asking if I needed anything.
I loved her and will miss her deeply. She will always have a special place in my heart!
