Inez Lorraine Wright's Obituary
Inez Lorraine Wright was the 3rd daughter born to Marvin “Bob” and Blanche “Mino” Jensen (preceded by both in death) in Seattle WA on January 18, 1932. She transitioned to be with her Lord and Savior on December 21, 2014 after a lengthy battle with COPD. She grew up with her sisters Marcella Lucille and Lois Blanche (preceded in death). She loved her family and was blessed with 4 children; Deborah “Debe” Lynn McDowell (Martin), Cynthia “Cindy” Lee McCormack, Violet Lorraine Larson (Lindsey) & Earl “Bobby” Robert Wright. She had 3 other children who went to heaven before she could take them home from the hospital (Pamela Roxanne, Mark Anthony & Katherine Verlee). She cherished her grandchildren; Jason, Kathlyn “Katy”, Kevin, Kyle & Kristin and one great grandchild, Cooper. She had 5 nephews; Miles (Sheila), David, Mike (Debbie), Rick (Kirstie) & Howard (Una).
Inez loved the holidays and would never miss a get-together. She always said “that was so fun and we should not wait so long to do it again!”
She loved music! She got involved with the Sweet Adelines; an a capella, 4 part harmony, barbershop style chorus. She sang the bass part and competed on regional and international levels. She shared this love with her daughter (Debe) and sisters (Marcy and Lois).
Growing up we remember lots of time together with the entire family and games were always on the agenda. Inez was competitive and fun. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting, cooking, scuba diving, traveling and animals. She loved cows and her home was adorned with them, everywhere.
Over the last 2 years she became involved with the Central Seventh Day Adventist Church in Tacoma. She shared how much she loved the community there and was learning daily how to serve her Lord. They welcomed her with open arms and she expressed her love for the pastor and congregation. They made her feel at home.
She was surrounded by all of her children during her last moments on earth and told us “her life was complete.” She was happy and passed from this world to the next, peacefully. She is tremendously loved and will be missed, immensely.
