Imogene Alyce Stone's Obituary
Imogene A. Stone was born in Ashton, South Dakota on June 7th, 1935 to Hassel and Helen Bymers. The town of Ashton rejoiced that Hassel and Helen finally had a girl after four boys. In her elementary years, the family moved to Washington for Hassel to work for the railroad. She attended Lincoln High School and was a member of the rifle club. For thirty-five years, she was married to the love of her life, David H. Stone. Together they had six children. Imogene devoted her life to raising her family in a loving home. She enjoyed knitting, bowling, bingo, reading, playing cards and sipping coffee with friends. Duncans and Breartys were an integral part of the Stone Family history. Later she found a new partner and love with Marty Mays. They were together for thirteen years.
Imogene is survived by her six children- sons, Dave; Steven (Diane); daughters, Cheryl; Jody (Jeff); Cindy (Chuck); Julie; thirteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
