Ima Jeane Owens' Obituary
Jan Ima ‘Jeane’ (Lunsford) Owens, born March 17, 1925 in Knoxville Tennessee, passed into eternal rest on May 20, 2019 at the age of 94. She was the second child and oldest daughter of Ernest and Anna Lunsford. Jeanne was predeceased by four brothers and two sisters. Her surviving sister, Hallie, resides in Crossville Tennessee. Jeane was also predeceased by three step children - Hazel, Lewis, Barbara; three natural children - Gil, Cecilia, Ron and two grandchildren - Joe and Mindy. She is survived by her four children - JM (Jan), David (Jodi), Anita, Ricky, 15 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. Jeane lived in Tennessee for the first 42 years of her life later living in Oregon, California, Nevada and Washington. Jeane was always willing to give anyone a helping hand, her kindness and generosity had a positive impact on many people in her life. Jeane displayed a great sense of humor even in her final days. She loved and is loved by her family and will be deeply missed.
