Ileen Doris Brandner's Obituary
Our beloved mother, grandmother, wife, and friend was reunited with our Lord on January 27, 2015.
Ileen was born on April 4, 1931 to Steven and Bertha (Laska) Zaborowski in Wagner, SD. After finishing college and securing work with Standard Oil Company, she met and married Edward Brandner in December 1952. They relocated to Tacoma with their three children in the early 1960’s. In 1967 she started her own daycare center. She spent nearly 30 years nurturing children and families in her community. She enjoyed spending time with her family camping, playing card games, Yahtzee, and reading. Her most precious moments included those times she spent with her children and visiting her family in Minnesota. Ileen loved the Lord and all decisions in her life were led by the Word and her relationship with our heavenly Father.
Ileen was preceded in death by her mother and father, brother, sister, and other relatives. She is survived by her husband, five children, eleven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at Mountain View Garden Chapel on Wednesday February 4th at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 3rd from 2pm to 7pm at Mountain View Funeral Home.
