Ida Mae (Bugg) Raby was born on April 9, 1933 in Topeka, Kansas to Mattie and Walter Bugg. She died on November 25, 2024 in Tacoma, Washington at the age of 91.
Ida Raby was a Licensed Practical Nurse who worked in hospitals, the private sector, and then developed her own business for home health care. She was active in the church, a member of Zeta Phi Beta Inc., an etiquette coach, and a mentor to so many people. She loved to cook, host and entertain family and friends, as well as decorate homes.
Ida Raby was preceded in death by her husband Walter Raby, her children, Anthony Walker and Jacqueline Walker (Cowins), and eight siblings Thomas “Buddy” Bugg, Stella Miller, Louis Bugg, Tiny Bugg, Walter Bugg Jr., Mildred Banks, Mary Lou Long, and Harry Bugg.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Lovely Manning (Ira) and her son Andrea Baker, as well as her siblings, Verdell Bugg, Doris Bugg, Robert Bugg, and Larry Bugg. Her grandchildren Jasmine Earlene Manning Washington (Joe) and Johnathan Verdell Manning and many other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
