Ian Brice Sherls' Obituary
On Monday October 15, 2018 we lost our beloved Ian Brice Sherls. Ian was born in Tacoma, Washington on June 19, 1977 of the union of Nina & Alvin Sherls.
He was a most generous and caring man with an incredible zest for life and adventure. He was very charming with an infectious smile and personality that touched all who met him. He also possessed a unique sense of humor and a distinctive yet indescribable laugh.
Ian had an undying love and affection for his step-sons whom he took in as his own. They spent many hours enjoying sports on TV, camping, fishing & playing video games. Most importantly, they looked to him for guidance and to learn life lessons
He loved music, skiing, snowboarding, running, hiking, cycling, golf & reading. He was an adrenaline junkie and would hop on anything that went fast be it a skateboard, motorcycle, dirt bike, etc. He had to be the first one with the latest tech gadgets. He was a fierce competitor that was constantly striving to be the best at every endeavor.
An avid fan of many sports, he was most passionate about the Seahawks, Mariners and Huskies. His sports heroes included Michael Jordan, Ken Griffey Jr., Russell Wilson, Marshawn Lynch & Valentino Rossi. He also followed moto GP, fantasy football among others.
Ian is survived by his mothers Nina Summerrise, Deborah Sherls & Andrea Hardy, fathers Alvin Sherls, Keith Hardy & Robin Summerrise, life partner Sarom Rong, sons Noel, Niko & Nathan, siblings Tina Berry(Charles) Leonard Ashley(Marisol), Simone Krieger(Michael) , Nicole Hardy(Joel), Evan Sherls(Daisha), grandmothers Yoshie Jackson & Amelia Hardy, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews whom he truly adored as well as many other beloved family members and friends. Ian was dearly loved by those who knew him and will be sorely missed in the lives and hearts of all he touched.
