Howard W. Swenson's Obituary
Howard (Bill) passed away after being ill for several months. He was born in Crosby, North Dakota then moved to Washington with his family when he was a boy. He served in the US Army then started his career as a landscaper that continued until he retired at age 72. He also was a foster parent to a total of 17 children. Preceded in death by his parents Alex and Cora Swenson, 2 brothers Ray and Rueben, and 1 sister Margaret Stephens. Remaining are 2 daughters Charlene Craig of Port Orchard, Sharonann Swenson of Tacoma, 2 brothers, Orin of Tacoma and Delano of Puyallup, and 2 sisters Violet Lotz of Tacoma and Gloria Lobe of Olympia, 4 grandchildren Kendi, Jake, Benjamin and Janine, and 1 great-grandchild Michael.Memorial services will be held at 2 pm, Friday, April 28, 2006 in the Mountain View Garden Chapel. A Celebration of Life will follow from 3-5 pm at BurrÂ's Restaurant.
