Howard Ernest Sekstrom
Howard Ernest Sekstrom, born in Alberta, Canada March 2, 1913, passed away May 16, 2011. A 56-year resident of University Place, WA; graduated from Lincoln High School. He was a Navy veteran and retired as a contracting officer at Fort Lewis, WA. He is survived by his wife June M., his son David E., and daughter Sheryl J., four grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, a sister, Florence Erb, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Myrna Engh. He is much loved by all who knew him. A graveside service will be held May 20th, 2011 at 3:30 p.m., Mountain View Cemetery. A celebration of his life will follow at the family home. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
