Howard K. Hunsinger's Obituary
Howard K Hunsinger, 73, died peacefully on September 13, 2023, in Puyallup, WA. He was born July 05, 1950, as the 4th son of Prentis R. and Julia M. Hunsinger.
Howard graduated from Clover Park High School in Tacoma, WA, as a member of the class of 1967. Following graduation, he served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. After the war, he married and had two children, Megan and Matthew, settling in Tacoma, WA.
Howard spent most of his career, 1979-2023, working for Commercial Brake & Clutch in Tacoma, WA. He treasured the many customers who became friends over the years.
Howard bowled in a league at Tower Lanes, enjoying the friendships that were formed over the love of bowling. He loved making pottery and had a passion for Corvettes. He was part of Tacoma Glass Corvette Club, where he showed his baby, GRNWHNV. Green with envy.
In addition to his parents and stepfather, Lyle Lathrop, he was predeceased by his brothers, Jim and Allen. He is survived by his brother, Prentis, and his wife Connie; daughter, Megan; son, Matthew; grandchildren, Jairon, Brendyn, Austin, Brody, Julian, and Kennedy; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service for Howard is scheduled for Monday, October 30, 2023 at 1:30pm at Mountain View Memorial Park, located at 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Lakewood, WA 98499.
Howard will be sincerely missed by his family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him.
