Hobart Nichols, born September 15, 1928 in Edgarton, WV, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2003.Nick was a Mess Sgt. in the U.S. Army, serving in WWII, the Korean Conflict and Vietnam before retiring in 1966 after 20 years. He went to work for Civil Service at Madigan Army Hospital and retired again in 1979.He is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Dorothea (Dottie) Nichols; children, Donna Nichols-Laster, Becky (Joe) Loveless, and Scott (Carol) Nichols; 6 grandchildren; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters. His parents, 5 brothers and 1 sister preceded him in death.A time of visitation will be held from 12 PM until 9 PM, Wednesday, December 3, 2003 at Mt. View Funeral Home, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Tacoma. Memorial Services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, December 4, 2003 at Lake City Community Church, 8810 Lawndale Avenue, SW, Lakewood, WA.
