Hildegard M. Morgan
Hildegard M. Morgan of Roy, Washington, peacefully passed away at home on May 2, 2012. The daughter of Wilhem and Marie Henseler of Landstuhl, Germany, was born on October 12, 1930, in Saarbrucken, Germany. She married Richard L. Morgan of New Kensington, PA, on his military tour in Landstuhl, Germany, at the end of WWII. They had three children: Richard A. Morgan (Pittsburgh, PA), Lorraine M. Ronquillo (Lacey, WA), and Kathleen I. London (deceased, 5/27/2010). Hildegard and Dick lived in several states, including Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Texas and countries, including Iceland and Panama, before settling in Tacoma in 1962 and subsequently moving to their beloved farm in Roy which they bought in 1975. During the 1970's Hilda worked as a dental assistant at Ft. Lewis. She and Dick raised cattle and grew and sold feed. Hilda belongs to the Our Lady Queen of Heaven, in Spanaway, where she did volunteer work. One of her and her family's greatest joys is Hilda's loving neighbors. Dick preceded her in death in 2009. Hilda was the youngest of the Henseler siblings, Joseph (dec.), Gisela (Sherman, TX), Friederick (dec.) and Marga (dec.). She leaves behind three loving grandchildren: Jessica Webb, Matthew Ronquillo, and R. Scott Morgan; and, two great grandchildren, Ryder and Addison Webb. The Rosary will be at 10:30 am, followed by an 11:00 am funeral service at Our Lady Queen of Heaven.
