HILDA SUE (WEHRLY) GEORGE, born on February 2, 1935 in BRUSH, Colorado, to the late BLANCE WEHRLY and JESSE WEHRLY, passed away at age 84 on March 8, 2019 in TUCSON, Arizona. Hilda was married to the late FRED H GEORGE. She was preceded in death by her brothers, GEORGE WEHRLY, LAURENCE WEHRLY, DALE WEHRLY, and DEAN WEHRLY; and sister, EDNA WEHRLY. HILDA is survived by her daughter, SHARI ELLITHORPE; son, STEVEN GEORGE; sister, LOIS (WEHRLY) MINSCH; grandchildren, CANDACE ORTEGA, LAUREN STORRS, and ANTHONY GEORGE; and great-grandchild, ADAM C STORRS. HILDA spent a lifetime as a dedicated nurse. Always ready with advice. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She had a passion for basketball, crafting, reading and the ocean. Friends and family can pay their respects at the graveside service on Saturday, July 13 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Mountain View Funeral Home, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Lakewood, Washington, 98499. Following that, there will be a celebration of life from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Mountain View Funeral Home.
