Herman Victor Hall's Obituary
Vic was born in Wichita, Kansas May 29, 1916. He passed away peacefully in his home June 27, 2005 in Tacoma, WA.He was the 3rd of 10 siblings. He was raised playing and working on the farm in Kansas. He was a very proud veteran of World War II. His military career is what brought him and his bride to the beautiful Pacific Northwest. After his military service, Vic worked as a machinist, retiring from a career as a union representative for the machinists and aerospace workers.He was a member of the International Association of Machinists, Tacoma Masonic Lodge, longtime member of All Saints Episcopal Church, TOPS of Puyallup, Tacoma Elks, and Tacoma Timberliners.VicÂ's happiest times were spent enjoying the beautiful outdoors. He loved fishing and hunting. Some of our best memories are those of clam digging on the coast and salmon fishing out of Westport. Vic will always be remembered for his great sense of humor, his laugh and a smile that could light a dark room.Vic was preceded in death by his loving wife Margaret. He is survived by his daughter Joyce Lagerquist (Paul) of Randle, WA; his son Arthur Hall (Joan) of Big River, CA; five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.Donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Humane Society in lieu of flowers.A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, July 2, 2005 at Mountain View Memorial Park.
