Herb R Weston's Obituary
Herb R Weston passed away peacefully on August 17, 2017 in Tacoma, WA. Born on 10/13/41 in Kansas City, Missouri. Herb graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1959. He served in the Navy, worked for United Airlines and then became a Tacoma Police Patrol Specialist where he retired from in 1990. Herb and his wife Betty of 25 years sailed their 42 foot sailboat to Alaska and Mexico where they lived in Puerto Vallarta for a year and a half. They then took themselves on an adventure of a lifetime. Sailing across the equator into the South Pacific. Herb and Betty spent time on a few islands in the South Pacific before landing in New Zealand. They then purchased a motorhome and began traveling by land spending time in Arizona each year. Herb is survived by his wife Betty Weston, daughters Danielle McKay (Tim), Angela Weston, sister Barb Young, brother John Weston (Colleen), half sister Millie Rey, grandson Brennan McKay, granddaughter Sarah McKay, granddaughter Camilla Kramer and great granddaughter Aliyah Marie. Herb is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. We will all miss him dearly.
