Henry Torgrimson's Obituary
Hank (Torgie), a sweet gentle man, was born July 26, 1923, the 6th of 7 children to Carl Emil Torgrimson and Ella Kingsnorth Dunk in Carolside, Alberta, Canada. He died September 15, 2014 in Puyallup. Henry grew up in Absarokee, Montana, was a WW2 US Army Vet who served in the 2nd Infantry – Arrowhead Division in the Battle of the Bulge & with the Free French 2nd Armored Division liberated Paris. He was a well-respected electrician in Tacoma and volunteered at church, Habitat for Humanity, Fife/Milton Food Bank. Hank enjoyed golfing, reading, watching sports, his 1923 Model T, salmon fishing, travelling, meeting new friends, & his close family, especially his grandkids. He is survived by the love of his life, Betty, his wife of 67 years, son Dale, daughter Carol Reppun (Jeff), grandkids Emily, Kristi (Mark) and Carl (Erika), sister Gladys and many other relatives and friends.
Memorial service will be at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Tacoma 9/27/14 at 1:00. Interment at Tahoma National Cemetery.
