Henry W. Coates' Obituary
Henry W. Coates, 76, a Tacoma resident since the late 70's, died peacefully in his home on December 26, 2016. Henry was owner of Coates Surveying Service, and for over 30 years worked on numerous projects throughout the community. He enjoyed cruising the Puget Sound in his boat, model trains, sharing his faith with others as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and especially spending time with his family. He was a true people person and to him no one was ever a stranger. Henry is survived by his wife Norine, sons Wade, Trent, daughter Monica and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Memorial services and a reception will be held on Saturday January 7, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Jason Lee Middle school, 602 N. Sprague Ave. Tacoma 98403.
