Henrietta Zacek's Obituary
Henrietta Louise Zacek, Age 97, died peacefully on December 20, 2012. She was laid to rest on December 31st at Tacoma Mausoleum.
Henrietta was born on June 18th, 1915 in Tacoma, WA, which she called home for all of her life. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1933, and was very active with her alumni. She was also a member of Women of the Moose Chapter 67 and the Order of the Eastern Star-White Clover Chapter 31.
Even though Tacoma was her home, Henrietta loved to travel. After she retired from her federal job she enjoyed her trips to Mexico, Spain and China and several cruises. She also loved to danceo music. Henrietta had a heart of gold and always thought of others before herself. She was a person who, once you met her, you would never forget. May she be in our hearts forever, you are greatly missed my friend.
Henrietta is survived by her stepdaughter, Delores (Ralph) Kohn, three grandsons, and one great-granddaughter, in addition to special friend, Sharon (Rick and Alyssa) Cabral.
A special Thank You to the staff at Hearthside Manor. The love you give to those in your care makes a difference. We appreciate you all.
Jesus said to her "I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life; and everyone that is living and exercises faith in me will never die at all" (John 11:25-26)
