Henrietta V. Stewart
Mrs. Henrietta V. Stewart, born Nov. 4, 1925, passed away on Oct. 25. She moved to Tacoma in 1964 and taught music in the Tacoma Public Schools for 20 years and private piano lessons for over 50 years. She was an active member at Allen AME church for 40 years, and one of the founding members of the first State of Washington Chapter of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. She is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline Jefferson and Gail Stewart; three sons, George, Vincent and David Stewart; 11 grandchildren, and one great-grandson. Public viewing will be TODAY, Friday, October 30, from 1:00-6:00 PM at Mountain View Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Allen AME Church, 1223 So.
