What a wonderful service, and wonderful 'family' music! Helen would be proud!
The many memories we have of Helen over the years. I remember her sweetness, loving, gentle nature. When I was a teenager, and my folks had the 'nerve' to divorce, Helen patted me and reached out with love and support constantly. With Nancy and I being friends, we were in each others lives for a long time. Once when Nancy moved away, Helen had my husband and I over for dinner with her and Dick! I was so touched! You know, it is true, I cannot remember a moment of 'anger' coming out of her! She always was in control, even if any of us were not! Her sweet smile and 'giggle'! Her wonderful, natural, sweet disposition lives on in her 'offsprings'. Her and Dick did 'good'. Three successful children, grandchildren and even great grandchildren! With the rarity of longevity marriages these days, the Tutt's are a novelty, plus a blessing to behold!! Helen has a lot to do with this, I suspect! By her example of unconditional love, devotion to her family and the priorities in her life that she consistently showed her family, and to the rest of us!
Yes, she will be missed, but the wonderful memories certainly will eventually be a great comfort to all.
May God's prescence be felt and sustain everyone, at this time of grief, that in time will be eased as time goes on!
