Helen Skidmore's Obituary
Helen Skidmore Passed away suddenly on Thursday evening August 30th in Seaside, Oregon, a day after celebrating her 65th wedding anniversary.
She was born to Arthur and Ethel Neate in Willow Creek, Montana on April 25, 1923. Helen served her country in the Navy during WWII, then graduated from the College of Puget Sound (now UPS). She was an incredible cook, an accomplished seamstress, and very dedicated to her family.
She is survived by her husband Robert, her daughters Diana Ledesma (Dave) and Allison Granger, her grandchildren Jason Ledesma (McKenna), Callie Nelsen (Brett), and Christa Ledesma, her great grandchildren, Berkley, Lauren, and Kennedy Ledesma, and her sisters Janice Alflen and Janet Hansen.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 3:00pm at Christ Lutheran Church, 8211 112th Street SW in Lakewood. Remembrances may be made to the Tacoma Rescue Mission or the Christ Lutheran Memorial Fund.
