Helen O. Hilts' Obituary
Born in Devils Lake, North Dakota to Harold and Hannah Krogh, Helen worked in the Bremerton Shipyards during WWII and later at Marymount Academy and the Puyallup Fair before retiring. Helen was fun-loving and always enjoyed gatherings and outings with family. She found pleasure caring for grandchildren and others. She lived in south Tacoma before moving to Argus Manor in Puyallup and then at the Courtyard Assisted Living and Linden Grove Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Gladys and Vernice, as well as her husband, William R. Hilts, and son William H. Hilts. She is survived by her daughter Joanne K. Sjoboen (Alan) and son Robert G. Hilts, along with four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held from 8:00 AM-12:00 PM on Monday, April 12, 2010 at Mountain View Funeral Home, with funeral services following at 2:00 PM in the Mountain View Valley Chapel.
