Loving mother, grandmother, friend slipped away in her sleep on Feb. 22, 2010. She was 69 yrs. old. Helen retired as Director of Nursing from Life Manor Assisted Living in Tacoma in 2005. She is survived by her life-partner Dick Spiller of Tacoma; children Debbie Steckler (Greg) of U.P.; John Henderson (Jeanette) of Roy; Cheryl Parrish of CA; Bruce Henderson (Stephanie) of GA; Stephanie Babb (Ron) of OR; 11 grandchildren and 1 1/2 great grandchildren. Memorial and celebration of life reception to be held at the Garden Chapel at Mt. View Funeral Home in Lakewood on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 2pm.
