Helen Marie KrafcikHelen Marie Krafcik, born on December 22, 1920 in Lewiston, Idaho, passed away on October 17, 2003. Helen was the mother of two sons, Gary Lee Smith of Elizabeth, Colorado, and Brian Randall Buchanan of Puyallup, Washington, and two daughters, Meta Earthling of Cosmopolis, Washington, and Peggy Lou Bean (deceased). She was the grandmother of fifteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She lived her life to the fullest, enjoying nature, fishing, hunting, riding horses, raising and showing dogs and cats, gardening, and creating works of art. She also cooked from Â"scratch,Â" canned food, smoked fish, and could Â"fixÂ" or repair just about anything. She drove a Seattle City Bus and became a nurse as well. She will be lovingly remembered for her Â"braveÂ" and Â"independentÂ" spirit, which she passed on to following generations. Her Â"untamedÂ" and Â"uniqueÂ" spirit will be greatly missed.
