Helen Marie Fisher's Obituary
Helen M. Fisher passed away peacefully at home on November 1, 2007.She was born in North Platte, Nebraska on May 9, 1924, to Pearl and Christ Legas. During her life time she experienced many emotions from the loss of her first child Herb in 1965; to the celebration of her 50 years of marriage to Joe Fisher. In 2001 she made her dream trip to Greece so she could walk where her Father was born. She enjoyed people, especially, Kay Lieberman her walking buddy of 25 years. In her final years granddaughter Sherene (Mike) provided her care and daily companionship which allowed her to stay at home as she so wished. She leaves behind her son, Larry Thompso(Janice); Daughters Pat Stetz (Frank), JoAnn Palmer (Joe), Teresa White (Jim), Cathy Cooper (Davis), and Cindy Voss (Stewart); her brother Richard Legas, sisters Ruby Heiman, Lois Cook, and Hazel Philips; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.She joins her husband Joe, son Herb Thompson, Brother Bill Legas and Sister Shirley Price. Rosary will be held at Mountain View Cemetery Garden Chapel on Friday at 7:00 p.m. Services will be held at Mountain View Cemetery on November 10, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. in the Garden Chapel.
