I met my dearest friend Helen several years ago at Bible Study Fellowship. She has more social energy than me. Through the years I'd called her " the unstoppable". I can be texting our small group at 11 pm in the evening and she would be responding to my text at that time. When I called she would picked up her phone quickly. She always sounded like she hasn't talked to me in a long time. She showed me how to love a friend. She truly was a great friend, a beloved friend.. I am so thankful to the Lord for my dearest friend, Helen.
Imagine my surprise when Helen called about a month ago to inquire as to my health after learning I had moved!
What a delightful, fun lady, so full of life and joy. She will be missed by all who loved her.

What makes me smile most about Bethany's Mom, Helen, is her giggle and twinkle in her eye. When I visited her at home or had lunch with Beth and her Mom, we would always laugh, share stories of friends, friends playing cards and eat heartily. Helen's twinkle made my heart joyous and sometimes her twinkle would reflect so much mischief that I always wanted to know more. Even writing this little story brings a smile to my face. Thank you, Helen. You are with us forever. Thanks, Beth, for including me in playing with your Mom.
