I have so many fond memories of Helen. My first is 50 years old when I attended Dee Dee's birthday party. Happy had painted a picnic table so we could celebrate out side with a Barbeque. The paint had not completely dried and I ended up with paint on me yellow skirt. Both Happy and Helen were beside themselves with I am Sorry what can we do. With their warm loving way They encouraged my heart and made a 5 year old girl know every thing would be ok. We have laughed over that story so many times.
Helen and Happy also were very special to me because when my parents went home to be with the Lord, they told me that they would always be there for me for mom and dad hugs. They also loved may kids and they grew up calling them Grandma and Grandpa.
A couple years ago Helen asked Matt to come up and mow her lawn before winter set in. Matt headed up and on the way it started sprinkling. Matt started mowing the lawn any way and Helen told him to come in until it quit sprinkling. Matt reminded her we lived in Washington and rain was expedited. A few minutes later it started hailing. Helen came out and insisted he come in and have some Hot cocoa. At this point he willingly came in. She had cocoa and cookies out for him and insisted she put his Jacket in the dryer to dry. When it was dry he continued to finish mowing but treasured this memory.
We will truly miss your mom. She was a gem and her price was far above rubies. I know you will miss her so much but we will see her again in heaven someday. May the Lord comfort your hearts and the memories of her brighten your days. Love you all so much.##imported-begin##Dorothea Williams##imported-end##
