Helen G. Syvertsen's Obituary
Helen passed away on May 30, 2003. Her passing was peaceful. She was a wonderful woman who raised three children, suffered adversity, shined through it and was happily married for 60 years. Helen was born June 26, 1920 in Tacoma. She was a charter member of the Tacoma Bible Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday school and was a secretary for many years.She was preceded in death by her three sons, Ronald, Fredrick and Richard. She is survived by her beloved husband Alden, daughter Carolyn Wyman, granddaughter Tahvia Adams, great granddaughters Kaeli and Malia Adams. Helen was loved and cherished by all her family and friends.A service will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at the Tacoma Bible Presbyterian Church, 5 South Â"GÂ" Street in Tacoma.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Helen to the Western and Central Washington State Chapter of the AlzheimerÂ's Association.
