Helen Y. Boukal's Obituary
Helen was born 5-17-1925 and entered heaven 11-3-2020 after attaining the age
of 95. Helen was a quiet and refined lady who was raised in Gig Harbor. In 1947
she married Edward Boukal and spent the rest of her life in Tacoma.
Helen belonged to the Tacoma Oregan Society, the Teddy Bear Club, was a member
of St. Ann's Catholic Church and the seniors club.
Helen made hundreds of teddy bears and had a love for each one. She spent
many hours working in her yard with a dog by her side, her last being a Shih-tzu
named Mayling.
Helen is survived by several nieces and a nephew. She is preceded in death by her
parents, husband Edward and brother Len.
Helen always said she never learned to drive a car because girls didn't do that when
she grew up, only boys did it.
