Helen Ann Ley's Obituary
Helen Ann Ley
Oct. 26, 1938 to June 19, 2008
"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies and whoever lives and believes in me will never die." -Jesus Christ
Helen was loved by many. She had six beautiful children: Charlotte Ley, Charles Ley, Kathryn Schroeder, Kelly Buchanan, Michelle Hewitt, and Miles Ley. She also had thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all who loved her dearly. She was born in Tacoma and attended Stadium High School. Her father, Walt Wilmoth, was a well-respected auto mechanic. Her mother, Doris, was an antique dealer, and owned the Corner Cupboard Antiques and the Now and Then Shop. Helen's later years were spent in Ruston at the Now and Then Shop with her brother Paul and sister-in-law Tina. She was a regular at the Ruston Inn, where she at one time worked. With Helen's death a generation passes on but it will not be forgotten. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will keep her memory alive.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
