Helen G. Aldridge's Obituary
HELEN GLADYS ALDRIDGE
Passed away peacefully in her home on October 5, 2017. She was born in Ferry County, Washington on June 12, 1915. When still a child her family moved to Spokane and as a young adult she moved to Tacoma where she met Jerry Aldridge. They were married in Reno Nevada.
Helen was the home goods buyer for the Piggly Wiggly stores in the Tacoma and surrounding areas for more than 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, golfing and bowling, which she did into her 80's and was on several leagues over the years. She was also a member of the Zara Temple Daughters of the Nile, the Ladies Oriental Shrine and the Eagles #3.
She is survived by her stepsister Dorothy Boucher, her stepson’s wife Mary Aldridge, nieces Dawn Renee Miller, Jackie Szlosek (Ed), Karen Butts (Fred), Nancy Hartman (Dave), Stepgrandson Don Aldridge, and numerous nieces and nephews up to 5 generations.
Helen was a kind and generous person who loved her family and was loved very much in return.
At her request, there will not be a funeral. She will be laid to rest at Mountain View Memorial Park, Lakewood.
