Helen A. Thompson, age 90, of Lakewood, Washington, passed away at 2am on April 1, 2012. Helen was born October 16, 1921 in Barnesville, Wisconsin, the daughter of Fred and Bertha (Wegmiller) Rickli. Helen was a homemaker along with being a retail department manager at People's Store, The Bon Marché, and for most years, Nordstrom's. She enjoyed cooking, her friends, belly dancing, and her home in Arizona. Helen is survived by her daughter Yvette Carter of Issaquah, two grandchildren, Brandon and Sunday, of Tacoma, seven great-grandchildren, Kyle, Jermey, Kayley, Sienna, Sabrina, Emma and Jackson, all residing in Washington. Funeral services will be at 12 P.M. on Saturday, April 14th, 2012 in the Oak Room of the Celebration of Life Building, Mountain View Funeral Home, Lakewood, Washington, with Pastor Larry officiating.
