Heidi Andrews' Obituary
Heidi Marie Andrews, 72, of Spanaway, Washington passed away June 01, 2025, peacefully at the hospital in Tacoma Washington. Heidi was born in Jan 17, 1953, in Eltmann, Germany, Daughter of Georg and Thea Ziegler and she graduated in 1970 in Volksschule Eltmann, Germany.
She then married David Andrews of Argyle, Iowa in 1975 and moved to the United States for the first time where she finally established residency in Spanaway, Washington and had 3 children, Sandra, Jennifer and Bobbie Jo. They later divorced, but Heidi remained in Washington.
She worked at SeaTac airport and Western State Hospital for a
while where she then got her counseling degree and started at Greater Lakes Mental Health and worked there for over 30 years. She adored all her coworkers and loved her job until she finally retired in 2023.
Her health started declining shortly after with having heart issues until she finally
passed but she lived her life to the fullest.
Heidi is survived by her daughters Sandra Andrews of Washington, Jennifer (Mike) Delaney of Iowa, and Bobbie Jo (Justin) Neale of Washington; two sisters Margot in Tennessee and Petra in Germany; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and lots of cousins, nephews and nieces.
Heidi is preceded in death by her mother and father Thea and Georg Ziegler and sister Rosia all in Germany.
