Haruko Hayashida's Obituary
Haruko Hayashida, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, friend, gardener, and animal lover, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025, just two weeks shy of her birthday. She was 88 years young.
Haruko’s life was a testament to her gentle spirit and unwavering love. She was deeply devoted to her husband, Roy Hayashida, who predeceased her in 2021. Their love story, spanning many years, was a beautiful example of enduring companionship. They are now joyfully reunited in Heaven.
Haruko’s passions bloomed brightly in her life, mirroring the vibrant gardens she so lovingly cultivated. The beauty of flowers and the companionship of animals, especially dogs, brought her immeasurable joy. She cherished the memories of her four beloved canine companions, who preceded her in death.
She was preceded in death not only by her husband, Roy, and her four cherished fur babies, but also by her parents and daughter, Amy. She is survived by her son, Brian Hayashida; grand-daughter, Emily; grand-son, James; and daughter-in-law, Marsha.
Haruko’s kindness touched the lives of everyone she knew. Her gentle nature, warm smile, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be remembered not only for her love of gardening and animals but also for her compassionate heart and her ability to find beauty in even the simplest things.
