Harriett Ann Bartkovich's Obituary
Harriett, 84 , passed away Sunday, May 9, 2010 at her home in Tacoma, WA. She was born on November 20, 1925 in Muncie, Indiana to Myron and Mary M. (Mckinsey) Edwards. She worked thirty years for St. Vincent De Paul and was a member of AMVETS. She also volunteered at Group Health and the Veterans Administration for 6 years. Harriett is survived by her daughters Kay Carnes Medeiros and Joyce A. (Les) Stenstrom-Albin; sister Patricia (Leroy "Blackie") Ware and 3 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husbands William Carnes and Joseph Bartkovich; grandsons David K. Stenstrom and Michael Medeiros. A celebration of her life will be held at 12 noon, Friday, May 14, 2010 at Mt. View Funeral Home Valley Chapel.
